How to verify a PayPal account?

verify a Paypal account

Verifying your Paypal account is not as difficult as it seems. All you have to do is enter some basic information and then save it. This will ensure that you have access to all the features that this platform has to offer you.

Login to your Paypal account

  • Log into your Paypal account.
  • Select your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen and select “Profile” from the dropdown menu that appears.
  • From there, select “Add or edit bank account” and click on Next to continue through the process of adding a new bank account to your Paypal account or editing an existing one.
  • Enter all required information (bank name and routing number) and click Save when finished if you want to add an existing bank account or create an entirely new one just for PayPal transactions; otherwise skip this step if you do not wish to add any new accounts at this time, which means that you can still verify using any valid debit card linked with a linked checking/savings account instead!

Click on profile

Step 3: Select the link “Add or edit bank account” from the Profile page and click Next.

Step 4: Enter all the required information. The fields are separated by commas, including your bank name, account number, routing number, and bank address which should be entered exactly as they appear on your statement. Click Save to continue if everything is correct.

Select Add or edit bank account

To add or edit your bank account, click on the link in the email.

Enter your bank account number, type, name, address, and phone number. Then click Next

Verify that you have entered all of the information correctly by checking for any spelling errors before clicking Submit.

Click Next

Once you've completed the application process, Paypal will send a confirmation code to the email address you provided. You will need to confirm your bank account by clicking on the link in the email message that Paypal sends you. Then, once again, enter the same information from your bank account as mentioned above (name of bank and Routing Number). Finally, verify your email address by clicking on another link in an email message from Paypal.

Enter the required information and click Save

After you click "Verify Now," you will be asked to enter your bank account details. You can choose to connect with a checking or savings account, as well as your debit card. Once you've filled out all of the required information, click Save.

Paypal then verifies that the information is correct and asks if you want to save it for future purchases. If so, select Yes and continue with the process; otherwise, select No and try again later when you're ready.

This is how you will verify your Paypal account.

  • Log into your PayPal account and click on the "Profile" tab.
  • Click on "Verify Your Identity" in the right column of your profile page, then follow the prompts to provide proof of identity using a bank statement, passport, driver’s license, or national ID card (if applicable).
  • After uploading a photo of your document (or entering its last four digits), PayPal will make sure that you are who you say you are by matching it against its records from previous transactions or e-commerce sites where you have enrolled in their Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode programs

Conclusion

So, there you have it. You can now verify your PayPal account easily. It’s simple and straightforward and takes only a few minutes of your time. So what are you waiting for?
